About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Engineer – PLM to join our team in Aachen, Germany. You will play a key role in optimizing and implementing PLM solutions for automotive clients, helping them manage the design, development, and manufacturing of vehicles with advanced engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities
- PLM Solution Implementation: Support the implementation and optimization of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, ensuring that they meet automotive industry standards and client requirements.
- Automotive Engineering Support: Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate PLM processes with product development workflows, ensuring alignment with automotive industry best practices.
- Data Management & Collaboration: Manage engineering data, design documents, and technical specifications to ensure seamless collaboration between design, development, and manufacturing teams.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the product lifecycle, utilizing PLM tools to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and IT teams to ensure that PLM systems are effectively integrated into the overall product development process.
- Training & Support: Provide training to internal teams and clients on PLM systems and best practices, ensuring effective usage and adoption across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in PLM technologies, automotive engineering trends, and industry regulations, applying this knowledge to continuously improve the product lifecycle.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive engineering, with a focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or related systems.
- Strong understanding of PLM tools and their application in the automotive industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with automotive product development processes, from concept to manufacturing.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
- Experience with PLM software (e.g., PTC Windchill, Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter) is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Work permit in Germany is mandatory.
