As UpGradelle CS expands its presence in France, we are seeking a motivated and passionate Systems Engineering Intern to support our ongoing R&D projects. About the Role
We are looking for a Systems Engineering Intern to join our team in Aix-en-Provence. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in modeling, simulation, and validation of industrial systems, as well as real-time data analysis and AI-based predictive maintenance. You will collaborate closely with our senior engineers and partners to develop and optimize digital twin solutions and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Modeling & Simulation: Assist in the modeling, simulation, and validation of industrial systems using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, SysML, and other simulation platforms.
- Real-time Data Analysis: Support the collection and analysis of real-time data from industrial systems, using advanced analytics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Digital Twin Development: Contribute to the development of digital twin technologies for predictive maintenance and process optimization.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Work alongside senior engineers and partners to solve complex engineering problems and improve system performance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Assist in documenting findings and preparing technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in systems engineering, IoT, and AI, and apply this knowledge to your daily tasks.
Key Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Systems Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in industrial technologies, including AI, IoT, and digital twin solutions.
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex systems.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); French proficiency is a plus but not required.
- Work permit in France is mandatory.
